Our Company

High Quality painting started in the spring of 1999. Our primary focus was residential interior and exterior work.

After a couple of years we branched out to include commercial work with our primary client being Long & McQuade music stores in Toronto and southern Ontario. Barry Lyons was our contact there as he was focused on hiring the various trades as they expanded their footprint.

In 2002 we were referred to the Benjamin Moore Painting & Decorating service that was being established in the GTA by the Toronto head office which back then was on Mulock Ave. in the Junction. We were part of a select group on paint contractors and colour consultants who went through several weeks of training to get our certification to represent Benjamin Moore’s residential team whose work they guaranteed. High Quality Painting was selected to provide the interior painting on a large project on the South Kingsway by the Benjamin Moore decorating team to be broadcast on Breakfast Television a year later.

We have gained expertise in dealing with water and smoke damage, plaster lathe wall/ceiling repairs, drywall patching, mold removal, bleaching and staining various type of wood, taking old oil based trim and doors transitioning those surfaces to water based products successfully.
